Teriyaki grilled swordfish

Running back and forth between the grill outside and the kitchen stove can be a drag when you just want to get dinner done quickly and maybe enjoy the colors playing across the sky as the sun goes down.

Grilled beef fajitas

Snip off the stem. Form about 2 tablespoons of the mixture into a meatball and place it on the leaf centered and toward the bottom. Fold the bottom of the leaf up over the meatball, then fold in the sides and roll up tightly, tucking in the sides as you go. Run a skewer through the middle. Continue until all the leaves are filled, placing four stuffed leaves on each skewer.
4. Grill over medium-low heat, turning often, until the fig leaves are browned but not burned and the meatballs have cooked through, about 15 minutes. Serve immediately, unwrapping the leaves and discarding them, with a bowl of raita for dipping.
Each four-meatball serving (without dip): 237 calories; 20 grams protein; 3 grams carbohydrates; 1 gram fiber; 16 grams fat; 6 grams saturated fat; 75 mg. cholesterol; 257 mg. sodium.

Francisca Contreras De Gutierrez describes these sandwiches as 'standard market foods' in her book 'Meatless Mexican Home Cooking.'
This is the traditional way to prepare this sandwich. But many home cooks also serve these as open-faced sandwiches after heating them in the broiler.
'Toast the cut roll first, then smear beans on the cut sides before adding cheese,' De Gutierrez writes.
Preparation time: 10 minutes

5. Grill the packets over medium heat, turning once, until the leaves are crisp and brown but not burned through, about 20 minutes. If you're in doubt, open one packet to test that the fish is flaky and cooked through. Serve immediately, with rice and the remaining sauce passed at the table.

Yogurt has been used as a marinade since it was first invented, over 4,000 years ago, in Turkey, Central Europe, or the Balkans, depending on who you ask. The important thing is that any cooking technique or recipe that survives that long is probably pretty damn good. This video recipe for a simple, but super succulent, grilled lemon and yogurt chicken is just that.
There is something special about what yogurt does to chicken awaiting it's smoky, sizzling time over the charcoal. It imparts a tangy flavor that lifts all the other ingredients. It tenderizes slightly, without turning the meat into mush. It grills to a caramelized dark brown without tasting burnt. And, there are not many fat-free ingredients that will have people begging for your secret recipe

srael's Olmert to be grilled again in graft probes
5 hours ago
JERUSALEM (AFP) Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is to be questioned on Friday over allegations of graft, for the second time since he announced his resignation last week, police said.
The interview at Olmert's official residence in Jerusalem will be the fifth in three months.
Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld declined to give further details but Israeli public radio said Olmert would be questioned over allegations he billed the same overseas trips several times over, and separate claims he traded favours in exchange for a discount on a house he bought in Jerusalem.
Olmert, 62, is under investigation in six different cases of alleged wrongdoing in the years before he took office in 2006, when he was mayor of Jerusalem and trade and industry minister.
He announced last week he would step down after his centrist Kadima party holds a leadershipo election on September 17, but insisted he was innocent.
Olmert had faced a growing chorus of calls for his resignation over the claims of wrongdoing

Right now, Colorado corn is at it's peak. So when the prices drop to ten cents a piece, try this method for grilling corn:
1. Peel off all of the husk except for the innermost layer: this layer is more moist than the others and is a little transparent. This gives the corn just enough protection from the grill heat to preserve the moisture in the corn while letting through the smoky flavor (much more so than wrapping tightly in foil).
2. Grill the corn over a medium-hot fire, turning every 2 minutes, until you see dark outlines of the kernels on the husk and the husk is charred and starting to peel away from the tip

OC being grilled on Internet censorship
By STEPHEN WADE 2 days ago
BEIJING (AP) IOC president Jacques Rogge was accused of backtracking on promises of press freedoms Saturday and some Internet sites remained blocked less than a week before the Beijing Games begin.
Under pressure from the International Olympic Committee, Chinese organizers unblocked some sites at the main press center and venues, but others remained censored for journalists covering the Summer Games.
'Let me be very clear on this,' said Rogge, speaking publicly for the first time since arriving in Beijing on Thursday. 'We require that different media have the fullest access possible to report on the Olympic Games. And I'm adamant in saying there has been no deal whatsoever to accept restrictions

The prosecution will question aides to former President Roh Moo-hyun Tuesday afternoon about the leak of classified presidential data. Prosecutors summoned three former presidential aides sued by the National Archives. The questioning will focus on how they brought classified data out of the presidential office and whether they violated the law when doing so. Prosecutors will attempt to discover whether Roh explicitly ordered the data leak. Investigators seized two computer servers used by the former president in a raid of the IT service company Onse Telecom

Jennifer Wilmes, registered dietitian with the National Fisheries Institute, says she encourages people to branch out not just for new taste experiences but because it's a healthy move for consumers to try to eat fish the recommended two times per week. 'Broccoli is great, but it's not the only vegetable. It's good to add variety to every food category because you'll add a broader mix of nutrients,' she says.
For instance, salmon contains ultra- high levels of omega-3 fatty acids linked to an ocean of health benefits, from boosting brain function to preventing heart attacks and migraines. Less oily fish such as grouper and cod are lower in calories than salmon, and sea bass is also a leaner choice
